This full kitchen and mudroom renovation included custom grain-matched walnut cabinetry in a period-inspired style. It makes the most of a limited footprint and creates an inviting space for cooking, family time, and entertaining.

From Galley to Gorgeous
The old galley kitchen and mudroom was storage-challenged with limited work space. Jo-Lu, the owners and their designer reimagined it to evoke a period feel while also incorporating excellent space utilization and modern design.

The results
White & Walnut
The biggest change to the room was a new peninsula — the perfect space for homework and working from home, and for this family of three to cook and eat together. Jo-Lu also expanded the storage in the mudroom with matching cabinets and cubbies to store coats, shoes, and more.
